Faster Payment System (FPS) We now provide fastest processing time and payout Free of charge to all our customers Using the Faster Payment System (FPS) you could have your money in your account generally within 24 hours of sending in your scrap gold, coupled with the best friendly customer service not seen anywhere else in this industry. Faster payments is a near real time system. A payment will arrive in your bank almost immediately after leaving our account, though sometimes it may take up to two hours. Otherwise the payment will be sent via BACS, where it will arrive at your bank in three days. Faster Payments is a new service, launched in May 2008 "Free" 2 Hour Bank Transfers Now Available via Faster Payment Systems If your bank subscribes to the FPS system, then we can make Bank Transfers to you on the same day and you will generally have cleared funds in your bank account within 2 hours at no extra cost to our customers. This is a major step forward by the banking industry and a great benefit for our customers who choose to take advantage of this method of payment; you will no longer have to wait 3 days for funds to credit your account. As a result of this initiative we now recommend Bank Transfers as the preferred payment method for all our customers, this is totally secure and all we require is simply a bank account number and sort code. Faster Payments is the first new payments service to be introduced in the UK for more than 20 years. For the very first time phone, internet and standing order payments can move within a few hours - almost at the touch of a button. The development of the Faster Payments Service was a massive and complex project involving significant investment. It has revolutionised the UK’s automated payments infrastructure and will be comparable to the best in the world.
